The International Baccalaureate Middle Years programme strives to develop inquiring,
knowledgeable and caring young people who
help create a better and more peaceful world
through intercultural understanding and respect.
This program is recognized worldwide and
encourages students to become active, compassionate and life long learners.

Admission into the International Baccalaureate
programme occurs through a competitive
selection process and is based on academic
per formance on Engl ish, French and mathematics tests.

All students in the Middle Years programme have the opportunity to complete Community and Service activities in all years of the program and a Personal Project in Secondary V.

Character development is a key element of the Middle Years programme. International Baccalaureate learners strive to be: inquirers, knowledgeable, caring, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, risk-takers, balanced and reflective.
