The Heritage Literacy Programhas been developed to meet the numerous challenges in literacy that our students are currently facing. We are meeting these challenges as a team, determined to prepare and equip our students as effectively as possible for the ever changing world of literacy. This team approach provides a variety of activities that are designed to reach the maximum number of students as possible. The team consists of members from all sectors of our school community: administration, teaching staff, student service staff,
professional staff, students and outside volunteers. These dedicated individuals organize literacy driven activities, tutor and mentor individual students and join together to provide an enriched literacy based environment. Programs include Peer Tutoring, Volunteer Mentoring, English, French and math resource classes, and the Advanced Five Literacy Program.
