Student Services develops and implements strategies to support our students who may benefit from specific accommodations as described in their Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). Student Services personnel work collaboratively with students, parents, staff members, school board professionals and outside service agencies to provide students with academic, social and behavioural support in efforts to maximize students' individual achievement and personal success.
The guidance counsellors are available throughout the day in order to provide academic, vocational, personal and social counselling. The counsellors prepare the senior students for CEGEP or vocational program applications and organize career fairs.
The social worker is a part time service provided by the local CLSC. The social worker assists students in working out problems related to personal, social and family issues.
The spiritual animator is available to assist in the overall development of students and acts as a link to the wider community by leading initiatives with the Community Involvement Ambassadors. The spiritual animator supports these student ambassadors who are seeking to make a difference in their community through awareness and fundraising campaigns.
The school nurse is a part time service provided by the local CLSC. The nurse is present to help students deal with health related problems and provide information regarding health issues. |
